Musically, the song 'Bombed Out Of Existence' unfurls its assault upon the listener like a cluster bomb, releasing a horde of ravenous insects that invade your eardrums, inducing guttural shrieks of panic as they buzz around your brain, accentuated by some fantastic chirps and glitches, damning guitar chords, and those oh-so-maniacal vocals, all laid down over a bed of irradiated fuzz. This was my introduction to The Owl. Wow! Brilliant without being forced. The production is flawless. That separation that really makes it come alive. Transporting the listener to these unrelenting environments. I can feel the desolation. Each track stands alone, yet the continuity weaves it together making the parts a whole piece.
